Old stuff: I havn't really played seriously over the last couple months. I just played for a few minutes at a time, and never record any of my times. Today, I went back and retrieved all of those times...nothing glorious though.

Predictions: My predictions were both wrong and right.....I may be back into Perfect Dark now, but I only play levels I like, even if other levels need my attention. I achieved one of my best times on one of my favorite levels with a 2:31 on Air Base (Perfect Agent)!

I'm Done: On my small ranking site, I saw that every one there but me got 28 seconds for War on Agent, so even though I was taking a break, I played it. I got 31 seconds. I got it on my 2nd try, but that's not the point. I could have done better, but after 3 minutes of playing more, I felt more sick of the game than I ever have. I wasn't expecting this as it has been almost month since I last played. I guess that means it's time to hang it up for good. It was really fun though, I don't think I've ever played any other game more. I certainly never had as much fun competing. I may be back again very briefly to break that minute mark.

Near Future: I'm curently putting together a video of "safe" Pefect Agent strats for Lethal Weapon, a friend of mine who just joined the Elite. To make sure all the strats fit on one tape, I rewind, when I mess up, but it still isn't taking too long, because, like I said, these strats are safe, but fast. My newest time is Air Base, Perfect Agent, 2:57. I'm really disapointed, because I wanted to go sub-3 mintues. I originally had a 3:02, and thought I could get a 2:40 or something. Today I'll just finish up Lethal's tape. It should be finished by the end of the day, and then tommorow, I can do whatever, but early Sunday morning, I'll be leaving for a week long vacation. I'm sure I'll fall way behind the people who are quite active right now, like NGamer, and Trent. Tommorow, I may go for Deep Sea on Secret Agent. It is the only time that is above 5 minutes. I have a 5:01, and it was the most unfair run ever. My total time is 2:07:01, so breaking 5 min. on Deep Sea would also put me below my next minute mark in total time. Things are getting slow. I miss the days where I could improve two minutes at a time on certain levels. My vacation will be a nice reason to part from Perfect Dark for a while, and hopefully when I get back, I'll fell like getting back into things. There's still GoldenEye, but I don't think I'd be able to stick with that too long.
Wednesday, July 4, 2001:
WOW!!!: Well, I wanted something special for the Fourth of July, and it came, just after midnight. First off, I purchased a new controller yesterday. I love the responsivness, but at first, it frustrated the hell out of me. Anyway, I once again improved all of my Attack Ship times, but nothing was as significant as my Perfect Agent time. I got a 4:04! The crazy thing is that I think I can do better, so I'll be taping when I play that level from now on.

Mini PD Elite: BlueDogGreen created a Mini Perfect Dark Elite, that contains me, and 3 other players. Now that I have a chance to get some records, it makes me want to play some more. I did play some more, and I got new times. Check them out.

Mission Complete: I just achieved every goal that I set for myself. I knocked down the last two in one session, when I broke 30 minutes for Agent time, and broke the 2:10:00 time barrier for total time. I picked 2:10:00, because it is half of my debut at pdark.com's Leagues System. When I entered around the new year, I had about 4:20:00, and I thought my times were good then. I've come a long way. I don't know if I should set new goals, retire, simply chase competition, or play for fun. I'm almost tempted to set a new goal of Two Hours total time, but that seems out of my reach, and I don't like setting goals that I can't live up to. One thing is for sure. I wouldn't have gotten this far without the Elite. If I didn't join and just stayed at pdark.com, the lack of strats, competition, and fun, would have forced me to put the controller down long ago. If I knew I would come this far 6 months ago, I wouldn't have believed it, so I guess one can never know for sure what he can do.
Another Attack: I attacked Attack Ship today, and improved it by a lot on Perfect Agent. All of the other improvements are just small ones though.

Extraction: Yes! ParagonX9 figured out yet another trick this week that allowed me to drop more than 20 seconds of my Extraction time on Agent. That got me in the mood, and I was able to shave just as much off my Extraction time on Perfect Agent!

Defection: Well, I havn't played for fast times in over a month, and by now, most of you have heard of ParagonX9's discovery at dataDyne Central: Defection. I did the easy way where I open the door and use that, instead of the person. I know I can do better, but I don't feel like it, and I still got a good time, well under the previous world record.
Tuesday, May 8, 2001:
Crash Site Is The Site: For new best times that is. A new time on every single skill level brings me almost 40 seconds of improvement. Most of the time came from my new 2:23 on Perfect Agent. Also, I just barely broke the 45 minute mark for Special Agent times.

New Times: In the last few hours I got several new times. Only Investigation (Perfect Agent) is noticeable, but the others are sure to move me up in points.

Golden Times: I got a new time on every single level in GoldenEye. Check it out. I've acquired a lot of skill through playing Perfect Dark. I may further improve on my times, but I don't think I'll ever put the time into GoldenEye that I put into Perfect Dark.

Intense!: I got a better time on Area 51-Rescue (Perfect Agent). It was very exciting. I was all the way in the red for the last hallway and room. My blood was flowing quickly as the bullets flew over my head. A lot went wrong, so I could probably do a lot better than that in the future.

Hard Work Pays Off!!: I finally got a nice time on A51 Infiltration (Perfect Agent). I tried using the strategy ParagonX9 uses ever since I saw it, but I was so hard that my attempts were off and on. Finally, over the past few days I put some intense effort into getting the time I wanted. I thought I would break 3 minutes, but towards the end, I took it very carfully, because I had never been that far in the level. This probably added time, but then again, I'm sure I would have died if I tried to do it any quicker. I got a 3:07, not bad. The main reason I focused on this level is because it's one of the last levels I have that I can improve more than a minute on and such an improvement puts me back into the top 25 and under 1 hour for total Perfect Agent time!

GoldenEye 007 Times Are Up: I got my GoldenEye times up. Check them out. They're not that good because most of them are from before Perfect Dark and I'm a lot better now.
It's been two weeks: Some of my times I've had for a while, but I haven't had time to update. The only real boost was at Attack Ship (Perfect Agent) and Crash Site (Perfect Agent).

Deep Sea Getting Deeper: Thanks to a tip from Ultimate G, I was able to shave almost a minute of my Deep Sea (Secret Agent) Time. I got some other times also.

It's 'Cause I'm Perfect!: I've been neglecting new Perfect Dark times because I found something else to focus on. I just got the rank of Perfect:1 in Perfect Dark. It was kind of a waste of time, because you don't get anything for it. I'd like to thank SubDrag for figuring out the ranking system, this helped me know which category to focus on. I'd also like to thanks ParagonX9, because I didn't even know the rank system was figured out until he told me.

The Perfect Dark Scare: Yesterday, I turned on Perfect Dark, and everything was gone, deleated. I turned it back on, and everything was there again....luckily. To show how thankful I am, I got some new Perfect Dark times!!!

Maians' are the Main Focus: In my last update I got a new Maian SOS time on Secret Agent. I realized I could do alot more with that level so I got a new best time on Agent and Perfect Agent as well.

The Perfect Dark Flu: That's right, I'm kind of getting sick of Perfect Dark. It's a great game, but it needs to be played in moderation. I told myself: "If I don't get a new time on Carrington Villa (Perfect Agent) in 20 minutes, then that's it, for a long time. Lucky for me, I got it! I had 5 minutes left until the 20 minute limit. I dropped almost 2 minutes!

The land of the Skedar: I've beaten Skedar Ruins (Perfect Agent) in 3:00 exactly. My goal was to break it, but hiting it was fine.

Big Improvements: I've accomplished a lot this week. Finally, I got my first world record, on War (Agent). I shouldn't boast too much as a lot of the members of the Elite already have this record of 0:03. All of my newest times only have a small improvement range, except for three new times that I am very proud of. dataDyne Investigation (Perfect Agent). I improved by more than a minute on that. Area 51 Rescue (Perfect Agent). I improved almost 3 minutes on that, and finally, my worst time until today. Maian SOS almost 4 minutes of improvement.

Mistakes: I had to update because of an error on Carington Villa (Secret Agent) and Deep Sea (Perfect Agent). The error wasn't even in my favor. I also got a new time on G5 Building (Secret Agent) just so I could say I earned something.

Major best times update: I got a new personal record on almost every Perfect Dark level! I was going to wait until I got one on every level, but I could help it. I had to post my times. From now on, I think I'll just post them as they come.
