Mario Party Review
By Matt Gee
This is the 6th game in the Mario Party series of board styled videogames which came out on Nintendo Gamecube (GCN) in the US on December 6th, 2004. It is the first game to make use of a microphone.
In this game we learn about Brighton and Twila (sun and moon) and us the audience learn about how they get into an argument about who they think is more popular. Then, eventually we learn about how Mario suggests that they collect as many stars as they can so that they could end the feuding.
In this game up to four people take turns on board- game styled stages, and often playing multi-player minigames to earn coins and stars. Also, the object of this game is to earn the most coins and stars before the amount of turns you chose for the game to be, are over. Finally, on multi-player boards the sun will periodically rise or set every three turns.
There are more than 80 multi-player minigames, which I like because it gives you a selection. Also, I like how the minigames switch every turn usually, meaning one turn I'll play with my friends "Strawberry Shortfuse" or something like that, and then my friends and I will play a different minigame.
In conclusion, if I were to rate this game from a 1 to 10, I would rate this game a 7.5 because one round (15 turns, 25 turns, etc.) take a long time sometimes like maybe 1 hour, 1 hour 30 minutes, 2 hours. Truly I would reccommend that if you can stay on one round of a game for a long time, and not get bored, then you should get this game. It isn't in my opinion meant for everyone. I hope that you liked my review. Thank you and have a nice day!
