This picture is from the new Kudelka ballet The Four Seasons. The dancers in the photo are Rex Harrington and Greta Hodgkinson, who are two of the company's principle dancers.

The ballet made it's company debut in Winter of 1997, and is being reprised this fall for the 98/99 season. For more info on the ballet and the dancers, please visit the official National Ballet Site.

1.Johann Pearson with artists of the National Ballet in another Balanchine Ballet. His work Appollo will also be part of the 98/99 season. 2. Another great Romeo and Juliet picture. Romeo is Rex Harrington, but I'm not sure of the Ballerina.

The first picture is from the ballet Cruel World Which premiered in New York. This is one of his darker works, and is at times rather disturbing. Still, it's an interesting piece and worth checking out at least once. I believe the featured dancers are Rex Harrington and Martine Lamy, but I confess that it was a bit difficult to identify the ballerina, so I'm taking a guess on that score. The Second is also Martine Lamy, this time in Cranko's Onegin.
