MORE NATIONAL BALLET PHOTO'S


I'm going to start this page off with a photo from Sir Kenneth MacMillan's Elite Syncopations.This ballet is an audience favorite, and one which I could watch 20 times over. In this photo we see the incomporable Karen Kain (in her final season) with her partner Rex Harrington. This ballet is great for both balletomanes and first time ballet viewers.

The first photo is from Jiri Kylian's ballet Forgotten Land The ballerina is Kimberly Glasco, and it was absolutely incredible. Set to music from Britten's War Requiem, the tone might be a bit heavy for some, but I'd love the chance to see it again. The second is from The Merry WidowThis ballet is quite a contrast to the former, but nonetheless charming and fun to watch.

This one is of Karen Kain in the famous red dress from The Actress. This ballet has already been featured in another of my ballet pages, but I love the picture.
