Still More Ballet Photos

Johan Persson in Taming of the Shrew. (Incidentally, this is another of the Cranko ballets, and will appear in the 98/99 season.)
...........
1. Martine Lamy and Rex Harrington (Not sure about the male, but seems like a good guess.) In Balanchine's The Four Tempermants. I remember seeing this one a couple of years ago, and I quite liked it. There tends to be a definite signature about a Balanchine ballet. Intricate patterns in the foot work beneath seeming simplicity. I've never seen one I disliked. 2. Greta Hodgkinson and Rex Harrington in last year's presentation of Kudelka'sTerra Firma.
.........
1. Kimberly Glasco in another Merry Widow picture. 2. What would a ballet photo gallery be without a picture from Nutcracker? The photo is from Kudelka's revamped version of Nutcracker. Set in Czarist Russia, the ballerina, (in this case Martine Lamy) emerges from a giant Fabrige egg. It's quite spectacular.
..........
1. Artists of the ballet in the land of Snow. 2. Martine Lamy and Rex Harrington in the 2nd act Pas de Deux from Nutcracker

Martine Lamy, Johan Persson and one more person I can't name off hand (Thomas something I think.) in Manon.
