Kammermusik of Kansas City played its first concert for a church service in Belton, Missouri. We were received warmly and knew we were hooked on the idea of making music for ourselves and the enjoyment (we hoped) of others. We continued to strive to perform as often as we could, and a look at our scrapbook; someday to be online; would show that we succeeded!
In 1999 Kammermusik of Kansas City Presented A Summer Concert at Battenfeld Auditorium, KU Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas.
Featured were: Adrienne Garstang, Flute; Andrea Zumwalt, Oboe; Mary Redmon. Clarinet; Janet Balzer, Horn; Brad Garstang, Bassoon; Jamie Mattingly, Piano; and special guest Shannon Finney, Flute. Christmas Concert 1996
These two pictures (in black and white) were taken from a Christmas concert
at the Art Center in Lawrence Kansas.
At the time they were featuring the art work of contemporary quilters.
Talk about a quality back drop for a performance!
