Explained?
I've just finished an A-level Art course and what I've put on here is some of my more recent work. It's based on Francis Bacon's work. Francis Bacon was a leading contempory painter whose mains interest was with the human form. Hence all my paintings over the last year have been figurative, and have embraced the idea of expression through deformity.
The pieces on here are all of the conductor Leonard Bernstein, in various states of mind - i.e. conducting Mahler's works etc..
I hope you enjoy them.
Since art at my school generally has a large following, I thought it would be good to show off some of my fellow workers art.There is a nice range of diversity and subject.
