In 1996, the group was invited by the
Singapore National Arts Council to be part of the Singapore Festival of Arts '96 - Fringe
Festival programme. The Singapore Festival of Arts is a biannual event and the Fringe
Festival offers a scrumptious arts feast for everyone. For three whole
marvelous weeks,
the streets of Singapore came alive with jazz musicians, puppeteers and even flying
acrobats. We performed for the public at Shell Theatrette, Stamford Cafe, Raffles City
Atrium and Centrepoint.

Our performace at Stamford Cafe
We dazzled the audience at Stamford Cafe with our opening piece,
Bach's Organ Fugue.
For the following 45 minutes, the audience was treated to folk songs like Yankee Doodle and all time favourites such as All I
Ask of You, Somewhere, and the Beatles' Here, There and
Everywhere. For more pictures of our performances, please view
our photo album.

We entertained the crowds at Raffles City Atrium
For 45 minutes, we entertained our audience with pieces such as
our own rendition of the classical Overture to the Barber
of Seville and spiritual Joshua Fought the Battle of Jericho. Pop songs such as Seaside Rendezvous were of course
included in the repertoire. Not forgetting the young (or the young at heart), we did Hush Little Baby and a comical Humpty Dumpty Medley.
