Charles S. is a sophomore at Gross. This is Charles's second year in the G.H.S. band. He has been playing the trombone for 6 years. He plays the first trombone part in the concert band. Charles has participated in Brass Quartets I & II, Stage Band and the orchestra for the GHS musicals "South Pacific" and "The Wizard of Oz." At the Elkhorn Band Olympics Brass Quartet II was given a superior rating. He plans on being in band next year.

Jim T. is a freshman at Gross. This is Jim's first year in the G.H.S. band. He has been playing the trombone for 4 years. He plays the second trombone part in the G.H.S. band. He also participates in Stage Band and the Brass Quartet II, which received a superior at the Elkhorn Band Olympics. Jim is planning on being in band next year.
