1960: my family and little me! |
The difference between my father and me is simple: he's a genius and I'm only a talent. We're both artists - he's the producing one and I'm the re-producing one. At least that means that we are not competitors but great collaborators. My father, Wilhelm Keller, is a music educator, music therapist, composer, and painter. He was assistant of Carl Orff, who was a great educator and composer in his own right. My father composed numerous pieces especially for me as a singer, pianist, and organist for the past 25 years. One thing we have in common is diversity. We both enjoy many different styles of music. We both take it as a neverending challenge to switch freely between styles. I will soon make more audio samples available. Some examples of our work include songs in Hebrew folk style, Austrian folk style, art songs, and Jazz. All recordings were made in Europe and are not available in the USA. I have the distribution rights of some of our CDs. Get more info on my discography page. One CD of my father's was available in the US. Ironically, I couldn't be part of it. The CD is called:
'Carmina Humana' and it is out of print. |
