Amália's Awards

In 1948, Amália received the Secrviço Nacional de Informação (SNI)
Best actress award for her performance in the movie entitled

"Fado, História De Uma Cantadeira".


In 1958 she is given an award by Marcelo Caetano, Ministro da Presidência,
at the Feira de Bruxelas, she received the Metal of Ordem Militar de Santiago da Espada,
Grau de Cavaleiro
.

In 1958 she is given an award by Marcelo Caetano, Ministro da Presidência.

Received the Silver Medal of Honor form the City of Paris, given to her by the
President of the City Hall in 1959.



In 1965, Amália received another Secrviço Nacional de Informação (SNI) best actress
award for her performance in the movie entitled .
"As Ilhas Encantadas".



Received the Pozal Domingues Award for the record entitled.
"Fandangueiro" in 1966.


In 1967, Amália was given the MIDEM award for her single record "Vou Dar de Beber à Dor".
Which sold over 100,000 copies. The ward was given in Cannes, handed to her by Anthony Quinn.
She returned to receive the MIDEM award in 1968.

In1968 she received an award from the State of Spain called Ordem de Isabel,
a Católica, Laço de Dama
.

In 1969, she again received the MIDEN award and the Pozal Domingues
for her record.

Received from the state of France the award Ordem das Artes e das Letras,
Grau de Cavaleiro in 1970.

In 1970 received the ward Ordem Militar de Santiago da Espada,

In 1970 the record "Comque Voz" conquers for Amália one of the most important
awards of the discography industry:
IX Award of the Critica Discográfica Italiana in 1971.


Received an award by the government of Lebanon called Ordem dos Cedros do Líbano, in 1971.

Received for the"Comque Voz" Grand Award of the City of Paris in 1971, and the
Record Grand Award of Paris in 1975.


In 1980 she received from the President, Ramalho Eanes, the award of Ordem do Infante D. Henrique,
Grau de Grande Oficial
. Immediately following she paid homage by the City Hall of Lisbon
and received the Gold Metal of the City of Lisbon.


In 1985, she released a double compilation album of all her major hit singles,
called
"Estranha Forma da Vida", winning her The French Order of Arts and Literature.
This award was preseted to her by the Minister of Culture, Jack Lang, (França)

This year in 1987 Amália releases a deluxe triple-album "Coliseu 3 de Abril de 1987"
that registers her concert "Amália no Coliseu" from Lisbon on that date.
She received a Golden Record and the album registers13 on the top charts.


In 1990 she received one of the highest dedications from the country of Spain
Gra-Cruz da Ordem de Isabel, a Católica.

Received the Grand Medal of Vermeil from the City of Paris,
presented by Jacques Chirac, President of City Hall from the City Paris in 1989.

Received for the President, Américo Thomaz, a Ordem Militar de Santiago
de Espada, Grau de Oficial.
From the French state Ordem das Artes e das Letras, Grau
de Cavaleiro.

In 1990 Amália is given a grand presentation of homage at the Coliseu dos recreios, in Lisbon,
where she receives on stage from the President of Portugal, Mário Soares, a Ordem Militar de
Santiago da Espada, Grã-Cruz.


In 1991 she received from Francois Miterrand, President of France the
Medal Legion of Honor
