This place, on the way from Tukla to Lobuche, is a memorial for Sherpas
who have died during failed attempts to climb Everest. Westerners tend
to forget that for every brave western Everest climber there are many Sherpas
who assist by guiding or porting who do not get credited.
The landscape becomes desert like, without any vegetation but small moss.
Walking among the Himalayan giants is simply intoxicating. One is surrounded
by prehistoric beauty.
