Pheriche is located in an open valley far from any other village. At night
the sky is filled with stars. I never knew that so many stars were visiable
once the urban polution is gone. This picture was taken just before sunrise
(3-4am) to the north-west with a long exposure (~5m). The light streaks
in the sky are actually stars seen moving as the earth rotates.
