The NBC Symphony recorded on many major labels when the group
was re-formed as the Symphony of the Air after Toscanini retired
in 1954 ( over 50% of the original players remained). The NBC
also recorded for RCA Victor, called, at times as: The RCA Victor
Symphony,The Symphony of the Air, 'His' Symphony Orchestra (Morton
Gould or Leopold Stokowski).
