Not every Sheltie has his/her own loving home. I have been reviewing my own site, and have selected two links from outside, that I would like to, especially. bring to your attention. One is:

The information at these two sites can be applied to most pure bred dogs. What is LITTLE KNOWN is the BORZOI fancy started "RESCUE" back in the early seventies, and probably before THAT! "RESCUE" has GROWN.

Many animal shelters have a "ViSA" desk. (That is the pronunciation for "VSA" or "Volunteer Service to Animals".) Actually, the folks in the BORZOI fancy tried to encourage "ZPG" or "Zero Population Growth", because of the horrors they discovered in the shelters. They were a very dedicated group!
