FESTIVAL DALMATINSKIH KLAPA OMIS '97

Festival has three semi-final evenings, in each nine klapas are presented with three songs. Two of these songs must be traditional (xxx means traditional). Jury of five judges - mostly musician artists, experts in klapa's song - judges klapas. They give mark from 1 to 12 to each klapa. Result of klapa is sum of marks. The best ten klapas in three semi-final evenings are finalists. In the final evening each klapa sing two of three songs from semi-finals. Klapas results are reset for finals. There are 4 kind of awards:

- Awards from jury:

1. Fortunal - Rijeka
2. Cambi - Kastel Kambelovac
3. Sinj - Sinj

- Awards from public - listeners on the Square of St. Mihovil:

1. Fortunal - Rijeka
2. Cambi - Kastel Kambelovac
3. Nostalgija - Zagreb

- Awards from klapa's leaders called "Bascinski glasi":

Unfortunatelly we have no information yet.

- Award for the best debut:

Lusius - Tucepi

NOTE:

There were some other evenings and happenings on Festival like Evening of women's klapas, Evening of new songs but we didn't participated in it, and we have no information about results.
