ManBREAK

The deal: Scouse rap-rock crew formed from the ashes of early '90s agit-poppers 25th of May, who lob out their musical molotovs with such casual ease it makes the competition look like old men with bleeding piles. Yes, it is indeed f**king political.
The line-up: Motormouth vocalist Swindelli is aided and abetted by guitarists Snaykee and Mr Blonde, bassist Roy Van Der Kerkoff and drummer Stu Boy Stu. Not their real names, we suspect.
The vibe: Have already stormed the States on a recent stadium jaunt with multi-platinum megastars - and new best mates - Live. Things have been slower over here, but a K!-sponsored tour with 'A' and Glitterbox, and an acclaimed debut album 'Come and See', have tickled more than a few pinkies.
Out now: The aforementioned 'Come and See' was released a couple months ago on One Little Indian, and hence should currently be a fixture on the shelves of the nation's better record emporiums.
Out next: The band's debut single, 'Ready Or Not', will be re-released in mid-January, followed swiftly by a series of UK dates.
Destined to be: The natural inheritors of Skunk Anansie's agit-rock crown. Better looking than Rage Against The Machine and with better songs than Dog Eat Dog, once radio and TV picks up on them, there'll be no looking back.
