Seafruit, ManBREAK, Frisco, The Leadmill

HAVING played just a handful of gigs before tonight, Frisco provided an appetising taster of what is to come.
Frisco are much rockier than any of singer Gareth James' previous bands and possess plenty of energy and charisma.
Energy was also something that ManBREAK did not lack. The two vocalists bouncing around the stage probably caused nausea as the audience wondered where to look.
However, despite the visual entertainment, the set lacked spark. They were the only band signed on the bill tonight but you would not have guessed.
Headliners Seafruit suffered from poor sound the minute they stepped on stage and this appeared to affect their performance. They smiled throughout but appeared to be mearly going through the motions.
However, their harmonic-pop was tailormade for the main stage and next time, when they are at their best, they'll be awesome.
