低音提琴Double bass

出生於台北，九歲起學習低音提琴。自幼曾獲五度台灣區音樂比賽冠軍，台北市立交響樂團協奏曲比賽冠軍，就讀國立藝術學院時獲校內協奏曲比賽弦樂組冠軍。1993年於講習會幸榮大師蓋瑞卡爾(Gary Karr)賞識， 開始與大師學習，1997年七月於加拿大與大師演出二重奏Bottesini : Passione Amorosa，同年十月於台灣再度於國家音樂廳演出。現任職於國家音樂廳交響樂團。

In Taiwan's Hsiao-wei Cho, Karr declared he had found his bass-playing "Soul mate" and, as they mugged, grinned, smirked and hammed their way through the piece one could readily understand why. Simultaneously, both players performed miracles of digital dexterity, which left players in the audience gasping in between their laughter.
