Credits (overdue!)

These are the wonderful sources I used to get the great gifs, jpgs, and java applications you've seen on my pages. Where I could I've specified what I took and its source. Where I couldn't possibly remember I just put in the reference. But, for all these sites, one thing is common: GO, see them!!

There is more creativity demonstrated on these pages than I could believe. A great deal of hard work went into the whole production process from idea to reality and these people deserve a lot more credit than this poor page can ever give them!! If you do venture forth to see them, tell them (e-mail or guest book) Auntie S sent you.

This is a great place to pick up some really "different" animations.

Probably more gifs on these pages than in any other single source. Really cute stuff!

logo button You have to see these! I don't mean: "oh, you really ought to go and see these backgrounds." I mean, click on the button and check this out!! These are the best I've seen anywhere -- they're borders (mostly) but they are the absolute best, most beautiful backgrounds anywhere. I didn't use borders until I saw these. I had to have the ones I used! Hers are the only ones I've seen worth the effort it takes to line up test to fit inside a border. If I hadn't used them, (and the gorgeous top border) you might never have seen any of them -- what a shame that would have been!

The music, ahhhh, the music! That all came from a place called:
Classical Midi Archives.

Unbelievable library of just classical music midis. The quality is exceptional, and the availability is just about incomprehensible. What a place -- heaven for a classical music nut like me!! Nope, you won't find the Emerson Quartet, but what do you want from a synthesizer?? Just as an example, this is some of the stuff I've gleaned from those pages:

Mozart (on my Page 3) concerto for flute and harp (K.299)

C.P.E. Bach (on this page) Solfegietto

J.S. Bach (on my homepage) Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring (I was so excited when I found it I just downloaded and paid no attention to whom I owed the credit. I sincerely apologize for that, because I carefully selected the arrangement that sounded best to me).

J.S. Bach (my personal favourite, on my page 4) The piece number is BWV526. Again, inattention on my part......

J.S. Bach (surprised?? On my page 2) Whoops.....did it again! Another no-name Bach composition. I wish I hadn't done that!! But while you're finding the one you want you can listen to some of the incredible others!! Good deal after all.

The ShockZone (6677 bytes)
Such a place to find free gifs and animations. What a Place, anyhow! The products are really those of a quality artist! How lucky we are there are people who do the work for love of their art. This is worth seeing if you have no need for any graphics. The site really goes one step beyond in demonstrating the creative abilities of those behind it! What a joy to behold! Care to send a one of a kind greeting card? Create your own -- most special!!

Hmmmm, nearly forgot -- Screen Savers!! Free ones!
