Kim, like her co-star Sunshine Dizon, started out as a child
actress. She won a FAMAS award for best child actress
for her performance in the film Rosalinda. She is the only
TGIS star to be included in the show with the senior cast
of Angelu and others. She was once paired with Red Sternberg
for the film Where D Girls R. She was included
in the original batch of the new TGIS, which was formed
in 1997. She was being groomed to be the female interest
of Dingdong Dantes. However, Viva decided to give
Dingdong a new loveteam in the presence of Antoinette
Taus. Kim had Dino Guevarra, so it was not a loss.

Recently, Kim has been entangled in a series of troubles with
her VTB mates Sunshine and Antoinette, but now all of these
has been put to rest.
