With more than 30 years of experience in the piano business and a family background involving five stores, including a Steinway franchise, and being on a first name basis with people deeply involved in this business, do you think he might help you find a piano?
He showed us around and as you will see I got to play a lot of pianos.
For example this Mason & Hamlin 4' 10" butterfly grand. That's a bench under it. You can see that it's small but it has a pretty nice big voice. My photographer, who loves modernistic forms and styles, was particularly fascinated by these pianos, and they are really quite unusual and quite rare. They're also really good pianos and I usually don't like baby grands, but I have to make an exception here.
