Purpose - To Return To My First Career Objective, Music

I am writing this to provide the reader about some of my background in the field of music. Some of you know that I practiced engineering during my career, but few of you know that prior to that, I had begun another, entirely different, career. In that earlier one, I set out to become a Conductor or Director of Music (band, orchestra and/or mixed chorus). That period was when I was in high school followed by the study and performance of music at the University of Miami. All that changed when the Korean War began on June 25, 1950, just 3 weeks after I graduated from high school. So now, I am volunteering to organize and coordinate the holding of community  music/video concerts in the Viera East Golf Course family of communities, to return me to my original roots, conducting of musical concerts, using CDs for audio and DVDs for video concerts.

During my practice of engineering, I found my capabilities with electronics complemented my continued interest in music. In that I mean, while I practiced engineering, I was able to apply its technology, which allowed me to listen and appreciate music through various home music systems, instead of performing or conducting it. Now I hope to combine my electronics with my interest in music to share good music with others. That is my purpose in proposing to establish these community classical video and music multimedia concerts. I hope you will join in this with me and help make it grow together.
