Views of a living and dining room done in the Oriental style with Buddha statues, Martaban Jars, ethnic arts and a flourishing pot of cymbidiums. In the dining room, Battle of Yashima byobu. Persian rugs adorn the hardwood floors.
In the Asian style living room. Center Mandalay period Buddha. Tibetan thankas left and right.
Korean bandaji. Metal work incised with auspicious Chinese characters for good luck, longevity, prosperity, and good health. Also double happiness character and floral motifs with birds, cherry blossoms, deer, cranes and plums. Painting is by renowned artist Zhou Ling in the Yunnan style.

Dining room. Six panel Japanese screen. Cranes by the river. Cranes are a symbol of longevity.
Japanese double door Kannon tansu circa 1880s. Drawers are behind the
double doors. Two section. Flanked by a blue Martaban Jar. Bronze Quan
Yin statue sits atop. Ethnographic art on the wall.
Kitchen Chest, open slats. Two section. Elm wood. Natural finish. The lower section has been converted into an entertainment center. Slat door slides perfectly to fit TV on right half. Left half for other equipment with ample air circulation. Top half of chest not shown. Dragon rug, partly shown. Pair of Shiwan (Southern China) style jars sits atop. Smaller is a phoenix design to complement the larger dragon design jar. Circa late 1890s.
