Pricecheck Command
The pricecheck command was added in version 5.0 to keep track of how close
you are to raising.
Pricecheck
This command keeps track of your price to raise automatically.
It also stores the balance in your bank account to track how much money you
still need to raise your stat. It will keep track of how quickly you are lowering
your price by letting you compare how much your price has gone down since
your last check.
This command is totally automatic. All you have to do is walk into the stat
room and look at your price. It will automatically record how much you need.
If you check on your bank account balance, it will remember that too. Once
you've checked your account balance, the pricecheck command will use that
money to figure out how much more money you still need to buy the stat. Remember
that the command only knows your buying price or bank balance if you look
at it yourself, so you'll need to check them each time you log in to make
sure they're correct.
Money Commands
This is a description of the new money related commands
added in the 4.2 version. The new commands are:
Markcash
Use this command to set the "mark" for zMUD
to start counting your profits. It will also store the time at which the mark
was made, so you can then get a feel for how long it takes to earn the amount
of profits you have.
Profit
This command reports the current profit you have made.
The profit is simply your current money minus the amount you had at the most
recent mark. It also shows the time at which the most recent mark was made.
Calcshare
This command is designed to be used for party hunting.
If you are the designated seller for a party, it is nice to be able to figure
out the amount to give to everyone else. Simply enter 'calcshare (num)' where
(num) is the number of people in the party (including yourself). All this
command does is divide the current profit by the given number, rounding down
to the nearest whole number.
Example: Using these commands in a party
These commands have been designed to make party selling
easier. If you sell for a group often, you know it is annoying to have to
have a calculator handy to figure out how much money the group has made, and
how much each deserves. Using these commands, it becomes much easier. All
you have to do is:
