Located in South East Asia, India is a part of 10/40 window and area with in which 97% of the unevangelized people live. Followers of Hinduism, Islam and Buddhism are primary religious groups living in this area. Statistics tells us....
* Only 6% of the mission force presently work in the 10/40 window. Majority of the countries of the 10/40 window are closed to traditional mission strategies.
*37% of people in the 10/40 window live in the land of India.
* India has one billion people and 97% of them are Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, Jains, Sikhs and others.
* Many states of India are larger than many countries of the world, the task of reaching this country is equallant reaching 200 nations.
* If India were to have a church for every village and colony of eery town and city or a church for every 1000 people , we need on million churches.
* If every village were to have a church, we need 600,000 churches.
* If every people of India were to be reached, we will need 4,635 movements targeting the all unreached people groups.
