The Mysterious Dragon Balls Appear!! Goku Becomes a Child!?

A mysterious, yet familiar, person is heading towards Kami's Lookout in a craft. Something appears to be happening there. Lights are flashing, the sounds of a battle...

In a room within Kami's Lookout, a battle between Goku and Ubuu takes place. Goku looks relatively the same as before, while Ubuu has now grown into a teenager. Attacks are exchanged in an "asteroid field" within that room. The battle threatens the Lookout as blasts nearly penetrate the surface, where Dende and Mr. Popo are shaken up. "Even that room can't handle their power" Dende comments...

At another part of the Lookout, mechanical tentacles spring up and attach themselves securely to the floor. To its side, some robots of some sort are making their way up the Lookout. They have trouble as the force of the battle shakes the entire place. A familiar voice keeps yelling, "Keep going!". They make it...

The battle between Goku and Ubuu rages on. Their energy beams are locked against each other... Goku overpowers Ubuu, but he avoids the energy, which causes a massive explosion trashing the Lookout sending Mr. Popo and Dende running...

The explosion also causes the robots to be thrown further in to the Lookout. A name is mentioned "Lord Pilaf", its Pilaf, Shu, and Mai. Pilaf is old now. He talks about how it took him 40 years to discover that the Ultimate Dragon Balls were on Kami's Lookout. Pilaf gets back in his mechanical suit just as another explosion sends them flying...

The Lookout is a smoking wreck as Goku and Ubuu finally come out. Dende asks if Ubuu has graduated, and Goku says this was not a test, he only wanted to fight him without constrictions. Ubuu and Goku then both collapse...

Pilaf and crew finds the Ultimate Dragon Balls on a pedestal; they are covered with dust, and have black stars instead of the usual red. Kami created these Dragonballs before his powers were divided with Piccolo, so they are more powerful than the regular ones. Pilaf accidentally sends the Dragon Balls into a pile of bones, and orders Shu and Mai to retrieve them...

Ubuu decides to go home. He apologizes for the damage caused to the Lookout and thanks Goku for training him. Goku says he did it because he wanted to. Ubuu then flies off...

Shu and Mai, in their mechanical suits, bring the Dragonballs out into the opening for Pilaf to make his wish. Shu cries as their 40-year dream of ruling the world will finally come true. Mai cautions Pilaf for every time they get close to succeeding, someone interferes...

Goku has just finished a big meal and is ready to head back home... Pilaf summons Shenlon... Goku thinks Chi Chi might be angry that he's been gone this long, and then notices a strange light... A big red Shenlon appears in front of the Lookout... Goku reaches them and asks, "What are you guys doing here?"...

Shu, Mai, and Goku recognize each other, Pilaf doesn't. Shu and Mai cower in fear, and then remind Pilaf who Goku is... Goku asks them again what are they doing there. Pilaf just says "Just hanging around..." then tries to whistle. Goku doesn't understand and says he saw a light here. Pilaf panics and orders Goku's death... Three missiles were fired at him; he caught them all...

Pilaf curses, he talks about how when Goku was a little kid, he was weak, and they could take him. Then yells at Goku wishing he were a kid so they could easily beat him... Shenlon in the background says, "Your wish is granted"...

Goku is turned into a kid before our eyes to the shock of everyone, including Dende and Mr. Popo, who just walked in. Shenlon then disappears and disperses the Dragon Balls...

(Commercial Break)

Now, a conversation between Kaiou-sama (King Kai) and Dende is taking place. Kaiou-sama is shocked that THOSE Dragonballs were used; he didn't know they still existed. He tells Goku that he must collect the Black Star Dragonballs to become an adult again. Goku says won't be a problem and he does not mind this body anyways. Mr. Popo disagrees for these Dragon Balls are not spread across the Earth like the regular ones; they spread across the galaxy. That is the problem and Kaiou-sama agrees, but Goku doesn't mind his new (or old) body and takes off...

In a bustling city, a robbery is taking place. They have hostages and are negotiating with the police. Gunfire interrupts Goku's meal. The bandits demand a car, an airplane, and a cup of noodles. The police give into the demands and wish for them to stop shooting...

Meanwhile, a bus drops off an old man... a perverted old man... it's Master Roshi!!! (in a pink shirt, purple cap, and "cool" new shades) He's uh well... hitting on every woman he sees.

In another scene, a boy is excited about being on a date with... Pan. As they are walking to see a movie, the boy keeps complimenting her, and shyly starts to make his move...

Back at the bank, the police are sending someone in with the cups of noodles. The bandits decide to have a hostage eat the noodles first...

A police officer talks to Pan saying they can't see a movie now because of the situation. Someone screams, they've taken the deliverer as hostage because the noodles apparently had a sedative in it. The police apologize and begs for another chance...

Meanwhile, Roshi gets clocked by some fat woman for "getting too close"... Don't worry he was indeed hitting on a more beautiful woman at the time.

A shootout starts, and it trashes the restaurant Goku was at. Pan decides to help. She jumps over (or on) some officers to get on top of a police car to talk with the bandits. They don't take her seriously so she kicks a rifle which knocks one of them out. Then another of them hears a voice warning them to stop.

Goku comes to foil the crime, but Pan, not knowing who he is and he not knowing who she is, throws him out of the way as she beats upon the bad guys. She avoids the gunfire, saves the hostages, and KOs the bad guys. Pan's "boyfriend" is trying to slip away before Pan catches him, but fails and just takes off. Pan starts crying about being dumped... again...

Then, Master Roshi yells for Pan and "feels" his way through the crowd to get to her. Both Goku and Pan call him Turtle Elder grandpa (grandpa as in sign of respect for old people, not literally). Pan tells him not to act like a pervert, but Roshi just says he's just an old man joking around. Roshi sees Goku, he's familiar, but he doesn't know who he is. Goku says he's Son Goku...

Roshi then realizes and asks what happened to him, and at the same time picking him up and swinging him around; Roshi's glad he's finally back. Goku explained that Pilaf used the Dragonballs. Pan is shocked that that kid is her grandfather... Goku is surprised that she is his granddaughter Pan... Roshi is surprised that the 2 didn't know that...

Chi Chi screams then cries... They're at their home now; Gohan and Videl are also there. Chi Chi thinks this is a cruel joke of Goku's because she is growing old. They wonder if they should collect the Dragonballs to make Goku normal again...

Kaiou-sama telepathically speaks to the group... He's discovered a huge problem... If the Black Star Dragon Balls aren't back on Earth within a year... Earth will blow up...

Another legend of Goku's story, which will never be heard or told, is about to begin...
