At Capsule Corps Headquarters a flying limo lands; a crowd welcomes its purple haired passenger. It's Trunks... in glasses and a brown suit. He's now president of Capsule Corps and a damn good one. As they head down the hall towards the elevator, female employees also admire him, and his advisors tell him that various heads of companies want to spend time with him. Trunks decides to ride the elevator alone...

Trunks found a moment of peace in his office just as an employer walks in with a HUGE stack of books to be looked over. Then, his secretary comes in to report his extremely full schedule. Trunks, using the stack of books as cover, snuck across the room and jumps out the window. "Not again..." the secretary comments...

A carefree Trunks now flies through the air and changes into something more casual behind a cloud and continues to fly off.

Back at the Son household, Goten makes a date for the next day. Pan talks about how this is another girlfriend who he is probably going to dump later. This causes Goten to yell at her, telling her to shut up and calling her a kid. Pan walks off saying she's not a kid while Goten returns to talking on the phone...

Chi Chi confirms with Gohan that he’s helping Bulma with the spaceship the next day, then talks about how the Earth needs to be saved again so Goku's off to outer space. Gohan volunteers to go, and Chi Chi is happy about it. Goku asks does he have to go and Chi Chi's response was "OF COURSE! WHY ARE YOU STILL WHINING?" Goku if worst comes to worst they can always just use the Earth Dragonballs to teleport the people to safety (I thought Goku loved Earth). Videl, Chi Chi, and Gohan all agree that they don’t want to lose their home, so Gohan volunteers to go along. Chi Chi is relieved that he’s going along, then Pan volunteers to go too, but Chi Chi (and Videl) objects by saying they're not going up for fun and that there’s a lot of "scary" monsters there. Pan doesn’t care and Videl tells her not be so childish. Goku tells her to just give it up, she's too small, and Pan responds by saying how she’s bigger than him now...

At Capsule Corp Labs, Bulma is building an octopus-like ship. Goku thinks it’s big, but it only fits 3 people. Bulma comments on how seeing Goku like this is bringing back some old memories...

Outside the lab, a strange person is talking on a handheld radio. It appears that they are looking for someone, the daughter of the owner of Capsule Corps, Bulma... Vegeta walks out (in a sort of flat-top haircut and a mustache) hears them and just ignores them...

Back in the lab, Pan offers her father help, and he says he doesn’t need it sends her to help her mother in the ship. Videl declines the offer as well and sends her to her father. This infuriates Pan, which causes her kick the wall of the ship. That causes a big dent and she moves an appliance in front of it and hopes no one notices...

Pan decides to go out for fresh air, and Goku decides to follow, since he's bored. Outside, that stranger, now with binoculars notices Pan and reports to his boss. He tells him that she must be the target and tells him to grab her. Goku catches up to Pan, but she doesn't want to follow and flies off, just as the stranger tries to jump her. He misses her and catches Goku instead...

At Satan's School of Martial Arts, Pan blows off steam by throwing the students there around. Mr. Satan notices that Pan is upset today...

Goku is stuffing his face again while the stranger talks to his boss about the situation. The boss yelled at him for not getting the girl, and he claims that the girl flew away. The boss thinks he's crazy. The stranger thinks Goku might be a relative of someone in Capsule Corp, and the boss figures he must be the secret love child of Trunks'. They finally look at Goku again only to find him with several huge stacks of empty plates, and the bill came to 700,000 zennies. The stranger hands over a credit card and asks for the 72-payment plan.

The boss calls Capsule Corp via payphone and reaches Bulma. He claims to have kidnapped her grandson, Goku. Bulma doesn't understand and just thinks Goku got lost. So, Bulma tells Gohan about it and they get back to work...

At a café, Pan tells Mr. Satan all about how they were all treating her like a kid. A waitress comes up and gives a sundae to Pan and coffee to Mr. Satan. As soon as she was out of sight, Mr. Satan switches the drinks. Pan complains more about how she's not a kid, and Mr. Satan agrees... He thinks she is... His cute little angel... Pan doesn't like that anymore than being called a kid. Pan wants to do something to show them all...

Goku is having fun, while torturing the Stranger, riding on a roller coaster. The boss calls the Capsule Mansion this time trying to ransom Goku for 500,000,000 zennies. Vegeta was the one that answered. The boss tells him not to report this to the police or he’ll kill Goku. Vegeta doesn't care and hangs up the phone...

Its sunset and Goku has had enough fun and now wants to go home, and he has a journey to start the next day. The boss tries to convince him to stay for a few more by going to the zoo, the stranger begs the boss not to make him go through any more. Goku says he has to go, so the boss just says how bout to until they find a phone. Goku volunteers to find one and flies off. They freak out, and Goku brings back a payphone and drops it near them. The guys just take off screaming, "He's a monster!"

The next day, at Capsule Corp HQ, Trunks jumps out the window again, but this time Vegeta catches him. Next we see Vegeta dragging both Trunks and Goten along the floor. They ask why do they have to go, and Vegeta says they've been neglecting their training and this will give them some good experience. Goten says he has a date, and Vegeta says to cancel it. Trunks asked about his job at Capsule Corp and Vegeta says Bulma has volunteered to run things while he’s gone. Goten pulls out his ace and says that his mother wouldn't approve, and Vegeta says she already agreed, which causes Goten to scream "How could she!?".

The spaceship is about to be launched, final preparations are being made, and goodbyes are being said. Goten receives a call from his cellular and answers it while Goku and Trunks enter first. Goten tries to say that he can't make it, but the engine of the spaceship is too loud for him to say it clearly... Videl wonders where Pan is... Gohan says she’s by Bra, but when they look, she's not there...

When Goku and Trunks enter the cockpit, they find Pan there and she pushes the launch button... The ship launches leaving Goten, so he says he available again...

The adventure has started... Goku, Trunks, and Pan are the heroes... Then, Bulma notices a piece of the spaceship falling back to Earth... She picks it up and gives a look of fear and surprise as she stares up at the spaceship...
