The ship is flying through space, Pan is cooking, and wonders if she should add more spice. Then, Gill samples it, without permission, and starts telling Pan a bunch of things to put in it. Pan gets upset about the criticism. Gill claims to just want to make Pan's cooking better, which makes Pan even more upset (to Pan, Gill implied her cooking isn't good).

In the cockpit, Goku is excited about Dr. Myuu's gang. Trunks tells him to be cautious because they could take their Dragon Balls and the Earth would be destroyed then. Goku says he understands.

The scene switches back to Gill, who is now being crushed by Pan's foot. Gill starts saying Pan's cooking is the best, and Pan likes that. Then, she overhears a conversation between Trunks and Goku. Trunks is concerned about Dr. Myuu. He suggests going back to Earth, so they can drop off Pan and pick up Goten.

Pan hears this and goes confronts them. Pan thinks her grandpa wouldn't want her to leave. Goku says he doesn't care either way. Trunks tells her that this would be for her safety, and how this isn't a game. Pan starts crying and runs upstairs (via elevator), and Gill follows.

Pan is crying in a star lit room saying she doesn't want to go back to the Earth. Gill hands her a handkerchief, telling to not cry. Pan gets upset claiming she wasn't and is about to strike Gill, but stops. She goes back to sulking thinking Gill may be the only one that cares about her.

Gill then detects a Dragon Ball up ahead. Pan is happy, since she can stay as long as they are still looking for the Dragon Balls.

They land on a desert planet, and try to look cool in their shades... But, that doesn't last long; they start to complain about the heat and they go back in the ship.

Suddenly, a giant snake-like thing attacks the ship. It tries to squeeze the ship until Goku and Trunks drove it away with a couple of blasts.

The ship appears to be leaking water, and Goku is upset that the creature damaged their ship. Trunks says it can be easily fixed but what they need is water. Goku wonders where to find that on this desert planet.

Trunks then asks Goku to be the lookout, just in case that creature returns. Pan complains about the heat some more, and goes over to Trunks asking if she can help. Trunks just says he doesn’t need help and tells her to go play in the spaceship. Goku then tells Pan to play somewhere else and not to bother Trunks.

Pan gets upset and goes back in the ship. She takes a canteen of water and her backpack, and flies off saying she hates Goku and Trunks. Gill just watches on. Pan flies a bit, then says it was too hot, so she starts to walk, with a parasol for shade.

Later, Pan takes a drink and the parasol starts to be blown away. Pan chases after it, but slips into a pit, also losing some more water, but the parasol lands in front of her.

Gill, then starts to fly off, and Trunks asks him where he's headed, and Gill says he's going to look for Pan. Goku wonders what happened.

Pan is out of water now, and complains about the heat some more. Now, she wants to go back, but realizes she's lost.

Gill, still flying along, goes on to the ground, which triggers one of those snake creatures to attack. Gill escapes and calculates Pan is in danger since she could run into one of those things. Pan collapses without water, and is thinking about just giving up, as one of the serpants appear...

(Commercial Break)

Doll Tucky arrived on Dr. Myuu's planet and walks into his room apologizing and praising Dr. Myuu, and hopes for another chance. But Dr. Myuu was not there; instead it was Shogun Rirudo. He tells him that Dr. Myuu isn't even on the planet, so Doll Tucky decides to leave.

But, Rirudo said Dr. Myuu did leave a message for him... "DIE!" Rirudo blasts Doll, and then contacts Dr. Myuu and asks for another mission. Dr. Myuu shows him videos of Goku and Trunks and tells Rirudo to take their 2 Dragon Balls capture them for experiments.

Back on the planet, Gill succumbs to the heat and crashes onto the ground. He finds Pan’s canteen, rushes to it, then drags it along for a while.

Back at the ship, Goku is throwing some of the giant snakes around, which causes the ground to shake. Trunks tells him to tone it down a bit because it’s interrupting his work. Goku calls for Pan to join him in the fun, and finally realizes she's gone.

Pan is slowly slipping into a pit as a snake opens its mouth ready to devour her. But Pan wakes up and jumps to safety. The snake starts shooting sand at Pan, which destroys her parasol. She avoids an attack of the snake but is too weak to avoid the next one. Pan lies on the ground hoping Goku and Trunks would save her, as the shadow of the snake looms over...

Gill comes rushing in smacking into the head of the snake. Pan is glad to see him (she's still weak though). Gill flies around hitting the snake again and again. The snake fights back, and Gill holds his own, also saying Pan is his friend. Pan tells him to run away, and then she faints...

Pan wonders if she's dead. She sees images of Gohan, Videl, and Mr. Satan. Then sees images of Goku and Trunks. She runs after them and apologies. Then water...

She wakes up, Gill was pouring water on her face and gives her a drink from his hands. Pan looks around and sees the snake dead. Gill killed it, and not only that, found the 5-star ball. Pan turns to Gill, and Gill starts acting scared, but Pan hugs him and apologizes...

Goku and Trunks come along to complete the reunion. The scene switches to an oasis. The ship is pumping water, Goku is skinny-dipping, and Pan soaks her feet.

Pan thinks she's just useless, but Trunks thinks otherwise. He tells her that she and Gill found the dragon ball for them. Pan starts to say, it Gill did it on his own, but Trunks interrupts and tells her that Gill was only there to find it because he was looking for Pan. Trunks then apologizes to Pan for not considering her feelings. He tells her to forget what he said and they are not going back to the Earth. He tells her that they're a team now and should stick together. Goku splashes them all, and Pan goes off to splash him back. Now they have 3 of the Dragon Balls and they're off to find the others...
