Gill fires a missile at the GT ship, and it melts away the metal encasing it and the forest. This impresses the team. They go in and prepare to launch. Pan is glad to finally leave, and hopes Gill don't take offence. Goku repeats the team's primary mission (search for DBs), and they all cheer...

Trunks launches the ship, but Rirudo's arm comes out of the liquid metal and grabs on to the ship. Not knowing what stopped the ship, Pan starts blaming Trunks, then Gill, for causing this. Trunks tells them something is pulling them back, so they all look out the window, and see Rirudo...

Rirudo doesn't want them to leave, and Trunks tells him that Dr. Myuu ditched them long ago, so he should just quit. Rirudo responds by stretching his other arm to grab the ship.

Goku says they don't have time for this, so all three goes outside and blast Rirudo at the same time. He lets go, and the team continues on their journey.

Then, we see Bebi over Rirudo's body sucking what energy he had. Bebi then looks up and screams...

Back on the ship, the team is tangled with each other on the floor, and Pan calls Goku a pervert for having his hand where it is... Trunks thinks the machine mutants probably won't chase them anymore... Pan then tells Goku to continue the search for the Dragon Balls. But, Goku complains he's hungry, which only gets him scolded by Pan...

The ship zips through space, and we hear Goku complaining about his hunger some more. Pan just tells him to shut up, and Gill detects a Dragon Ball. Pan yells at him to shut up, until Trunks makes her realize Gill detected a Dragon Ball.

Gill points them towards a spaceship that is by a star. Looking at it, they found it;s full of holes, and Trunks speculates that it was destroyed from the inside. Gill calculates that they only have 10 minutes before the wrecked ship is pulled into the star, and tells them that the star’s gravity is 68.47 times greater than Earth's... Goku gets serious and plans to quickly go retrieve the Dragon Ball, and Pan tells him she knows and to not whine about being hungry in the meantime.

The 4 of them go to the wrecked craft wearing spacesuits (except Gill), and riding scooters. They go further in and find an oxygen filled section. They walk some more and after Goku busted down a door, they find the one star ball. Trunks thought this was too easy and isn't satisfied. Pan tells him to not worry, since these things can happen. Then, she detects movement, and decides to check for survivors...

She gives Goku the Dragon Ball and the ship starts to violently shake. Pan asks Gill for the time remaining, and he says there's 5 minutes. She thinks that's enough and tells the others to wait in their spaceship, and runs off... Goku comments on how she's like Chi Chi, being that she never listens once she sets her mind to something...

Then, we see sections of the ship start exploding. Gill panics and tells them he miscalculated, and they actually only have 2 minutes...

(Commercial Break)

Pan is walking along some corridor, and a blue robot attacks her. It then fires missiles at Pan, and after the smoke clears, we see Goku and Trunks had caught the missiles with their hands, legs, and mouths. They tell Pan of Gill's miscalculation, who has apparently caught a missile of his own...

Pan quickly blows away the robot in one blast. Pan becomes proud of herself, and Goku asks if that thing would have had the power to do all that damage to the ship. Trunks thinks it must have went berserk.

Gill then detects a life form and they rush towards it. The ship is seen slowing falling into the sun... Then, the team finds an unconscious white-faced boy. The ships shakes some more and Gill warns them that there’s only 1 minute left...

More scenes happen showing the destruction of the ship... The team quickly makes a run for it, with Trunks carrying the boy, and Gill yelling there's only 30 seconds left... until Pan smacks him.

The teams makes it to the scooters and take off. But then, they notice that they aren't moving closer towards their ship because of the gravity. They turn it the engines on full power, but the gravity is too great and pulls them back...

The heat of the sun starts effecting Goku's suit, and he tells the others to ditch the scooters and try to make it on their own. The scooters accelerate into the sun and are destroyed...

Pan starts falling behind, and Gill fires a grappling hook to attach to the ship. Goku hangs onto him, while Trunks him, and Pan him... Goku hatches a plan, and the team all attach themselves to Goku, as he fires Kamehameha from his feet to propel them back to the ship...

The boy is now hooked on a respirator, and they think they need to bring him to a hospital for him to survive. Trunks figures that since there are routes for spaceships, there must be a planet nearby, and has Gill send out a distress signal...

Planet Kitai responds and offers medical assistance. Trunks and Pan are relieved they found someone, while Goku is glad that they will be able to find food there, so Pan smacks him.

The team lands on the planet, and the boy is rushed the ER, with Pan looking concerned. They wait for hours, until the doctor comes and tells them that he’ll pull through. This is when they notice Goku is gone, and they find him under the bench. Goku tells them that he hates shots and want to get out of that place as quickly as possible. This makes Pan and Trunks laugh...

In the boy's room, some of the equipment there starts to fail, and a nurse checks on them. The boy wakes up, then gives a menacing smile...

The scene switches to the corridor, and an explosion happens. Some nurses and doctors rush towards it, but a secondary explosion takes them out. The GT team then finds out that the explosions are coming from the boy's room...
