Two spiky haired kids stand off in front of an old lady...
Goku: Hey! Take it easy Vegeta!
Vegeta: A fight's a fight!
Out in the countryside not far from Satan City, on the wild open plains, two young warriors spar as they have, since they faced off in that tournament. Like all the other times, Goku wears his grandfather's gi, a blue gi with yellow pants. Vegeta wears something likewise... A blue outfit like his namesake, except he wears tight shorts, and a pair of white fingerless gloves.... Pan watches them intently and does not like what she sees.
Pan: Goku! Be more serious!
Goku: But grandma... We don't really have to train that hard do we?
Pan: Of course! Or else what's the point. I'll teach you fusion today if you finish your training.
Goku & Vegeta: Really?
Pan: Sure.
Goku: Wow Grandma... What's fusion really like?
Pan: I've only seen it once, but it is really wonderful. It'll make you two into one really powerful super being.
Goku & Vegeta: Cool!
Vegeta: Come on Goku! I know you can do better. Show me what you've got.
Goku smirks.

The two charge each other at full speed... Their arms clash stopping them both in their tracks... They stare at each other while gritting their teeth.
They stare at each other both unwilling to give, but suddenly, a ring is heard. They both relax and back off, and Vegeta walks to a gym bag, reaches in and pulls out a cellular phone.
Vegeta: Hello? Yes, mother. Now? Ok, ok. Bye.
He puts the phone back in the bag and turns towards Goku and Pan.
Vegeta: I have to go home now. We can finish this later.
Goku: All right, bye bye Vegeta!
Vegeta: Later Goku. Goodbye Grandma Pan (informal).
Pan: Bye Vegeta.
Vegeta picks up his dark purple Capsule Corp jacket, puts it on, then takes a capsule out and throws it... An small air cart appears and Vegeta gets on and flies off.
Goku: Let's go home Grandma!
Pan: Oh no you don't Goku. Just because Vegeta left doesn't mean you're going to cut short on your training.
Goku: Awww... Do I have to?
Pan: Of course! Now let's begin...
High above the Earth an object begins to enter the atmosphere... A white object that resembles an egg... But with spikes protruding from it... The object begins to descend down to the Earth at an accelerating velocity.
Pan: Come on Goku... Hold still.
Goku: How long do I have to stand on my hands?
Pan: Until you are able to balance yourself perfectly.
Suddenly, a ball of flames streak across the skies above them and smashes into the ground a distance away.
Goku: What was that?
Pan: I don't know... But I sense something familiar... But different still...
Goku: Let's go see Grandma!
Goku runs off towards the crash site.
Pan: Wait Goku! Be careful!
Pan chases after him.
Goku enters a wooded area. Up ahead he sees and continues to follow the smoke. As he gets closer he notices a small brushfire and finds wreckage of a crashed ship. Goku looks around and see the scattered remains of the crew... A crew of green men.
Goku: What... What are they?
Pan catches up to Goku and recognizes what the crew was...
Pan: Nameks?
A Namek starts to move ever so slowly... He sees Goku and Pan and motions weakly to get their attention...
Namek: Is... is this Earth?
Pan: Yes. What happened?
Pan goes over to him and checks on his wounds.
Namek: The last of us have come... to warn you. They came to our world... Slaughtered us... Used the powers of our Dra...
He begins to cough violently spitting up blood.
Pan: You're hurt badly, we must get you to a hospital.
Namek: No, it's too late... I sense you both have a great power... But it is not enough... They are coming here next... Find your Kami, he'll know where to find the Earth Saiyans... The Saiyans are the only ones.... They... They're coming!
He coughs violently again and dies.
Goku: Grandma... Is he...
Pan: Yes Goku...
Goku: What was he talking about?
Pan: I'm not sure...
Goku: He wanted to find the Saiyans... Us?
