Goku Sr and the 4 star ball leaves Goku and Pakku, and flies off to unknown parts... Goku and Pakku bewildered at what just occured...
Pakku: What... What's going on Goku? Who was that? He sorta looked like...
Goku: My great great grandpa....
Pakku: How's that possible? Shouldn't he be dead?
Goku: I don't know... He's appeared to me before... When I found the Dragon Ball... and at the tournament...
Pakku: So are you going to tell me what's going on?
Goku starts walking back inside.
Pakku: Goku?
Goku goes into his room and starts packing his things, and Pakku soon follows in...
Goku: Grandma's.... dead.
Pakku: Pan? No... How?
Goku: We were fighting aliens that fell from the sky...
Pakku: Those lights? The aliens killed Pan?
Goku: No... Grandma beat them all... But her heart....
Pakku: Goku... I'm sorry...
Goku wipes a tear from his eye.
Goku: That's why I came back for the Dragon Ball. It's magic. It can grant wishes.
Pakku: But didn't your grandpa say...
Goku: Yes... Now I have to find all 7 to get grandma back.
Goku finishes packing and starts to leave the room, but Pakku gets in the way.
Pakku: So where are you going?
Goku: Weren't you listening? I have to get the Dragon Balls!
Pakku: But where?
Goku: I... don't know...
Pakku: You've got to calm down and think. Remember? You grandpa said to go to Capsule Corp.
Goku: Then that's where I'll go.
Pakku: Not without me.
Goku: Pakku?
Pakku: Well, someone's gotta protect you.
Goku: Pakku...
High above the Earth's surface... A saucer-like ship enters orbit. Inside, it is dark, only sillouettes and the flashing lights of buttons are seen.
Minion: Mistress Seika! We've entered Earth's orbit.
Seika: Excellent. Report.
Minion: Scans report a weak planet. Nothing of interest. Except... I'm getting two unusually high energy readings.... One... One rivals our lord... Perhaps even greater.
Seika: That's impossible!
Minion: But the other.... The other is off the scales. I can't get an accurate reading out of him...
Seika: Our lord was right about this planet... We should show caution. Our lord's new recruits should be able to take care of both of them. Dispatch them immediately!
Minion: Yes mistress!
Seika: And tell them to not destroy too much of the planet! That pleasure is reserved for our lord.
Minion: Yes mistress!
Back on Earth...
Goku: Pakku... Pakku. We're here.
Pakku wakes up. The bus they are on stops in front of Capsule Corp.
Pakku: Huh? Already? That was fast...
The pair get off the bus... Each with a backpack full of things, they stand in front of the huge dome shaped building.
Pakku: Come on Goku! Let's go!
Pakku starts running ahead, then stops and turns back.
Pakku: Goku? What's wrong?
Goku: Ummm....
Goku just looks down, sporting an almost goofy look...
Vegeta: Yo Goku! What are you doing here? And what's the fat kid doing here?
Goku looks up and sees Vegeta on a balcony above.
Goku: Vegeta.
Pakku: Shut up Vegeta!
Girl's Voice: Goku's here?
A person suddenly rushes out onto the balcony shoving Vegeta right over the side. Vegeta falls flat on his face, but quickly gets back up and starts yelling.
Vegeta: Watch it will ya!?
With a goofy smile, the girl replies...
Girl: Sorry!
The girl has blue hair done up in a pony-tail, except for two thick locks of hair coming from the front and down the side of her head... She wears a white sleeveless outfit, with a light blue vest on top...
Girl: I'll be right down!
She jumps over the side and lands near Vegeta.
Girl: Hi Goku! What brings you here?
Goku: Hi Jeri...
Pakku: Uh... Goku... Who's this?
Goku: That's right... You haven't met... This is my good friend, Pakku. This is Jeri, Vegeta's cousin.
Jeri: Ran Jeri (last name first) at your service.
Pakku: Pleased to meet you!
Jeri: Goku? What's wrong?
Goku: Grandma's.... Grandma's...
Jeri: Oh... Let's go inside and talk...
Goku: Ok...
The four enter Capsule Corp.
