This month's collectible is the 1970 12" G.I. Joe Black Adventure Doll. The current value of this doll is running about $250.00--depends on condition-up to $1,000 with accessories. The doll is rare--one of only a few produced during the late 60s and early 70s.
The black G.I. Joe doll was also known as the
"Negro Adventure" doll. Initially released in 1969, the finder who obtains one of the rare 12" dolls should note know that the value is increased if the clothes are in excellent condition, the plastic is not yellowed, and is in its original box.
