| A nice opening into a sepia toned dream sequence, we find our dear hero Azrael having a quasi-western fantasy with Az having a shootout with our beloved Scratch. Being forced to wake up after being the "Angelic Kid," we find Jean awoken by Dr. Thompkins after reading a Six-Shooter Justice book. Once again, no man's land is flashed to as a cop and a crook have it out only to be stopped by a Batgirl! Said Batgirl brings the cop in (who was shot by the crook) and thus there must be a munitions store somewhere. Proving her mettle (of a sort), Batman enters and thus we learn that she's "backup." Thus later on (I'm skipping a lot here, kinda boring to rewrite :) Jean dresses down in order to infiltrate Scratch's assembly where he eloquently preaches destruction of Gotham and the taking of power to all. Standing in line to arm up, the crook that was defeated by Batgirl (and Az) earlier recognizes him and a chase ensues (don't they always in this sorta action filled atmosphere? :) However, Az is struck by a blow that comes from none other than Scratch... | |
