There is alot of talent in this season, so things are bound to get exciting! This brand new adventure has only begun! Good Luck Everyone!
Group Four:
![]() Welcome Everyone! Tonight we are here with Group Four. I am your host and judge Nick. Also joining us tonight is my lovely co-host Ksenia and our extremely talented judge Cory! Let's get started shall we?
We would like to thank Reality
Reel Media for hosting our sound files once again this season, it
is very appreciated.
Nick: Nicole, this wasn't the best performance we have heard thus far, but it was exceptional. Listening to it, it sounded like you were thinking "when is the song over frig", it just didn't sound like you were interested. Try putting a little more life into your performances. Good Effort!
Ksenia: Not being a huge fan of this song, there are a lot of things I want to pick out. You sang this pretty nasally and copied most of the same ornamentals that Christina Aguilera does. Watch words like "everyday" and "insecure" you seemed to really diphthong those (add an extra syllable than what it normally is) you're pitch was unsteady throughout the song, most likely caused by all the over pronouncing of words and forced runs. I'd like to hear what you really sound like, not you trying to sing like someone else. There was some good effort in this.
Cory: Nicole good job but it was just a lil boring to me, I don't know why but I think it's becuase you didnt have have the ad libs ect... but good job!

Next up is Rina L, singing "Someone Like You" from Jekyll & Hyde:
Nick: Rina, that was awesome! Well Done! You are definately a potential winner. That performance was flawless! I thoroughly enjoyed it, congratulations!
Ksenia: Oh how I love musical theater, and Jekyll & Hyde in particular. There was a bit too much reverb on the vocals which took away from the song (I hear it as simple and heartfelt, but that's me) You sound like you have rich mezzo soprano/contralto voice, but I'm curious to hear it in different styles. As much as I wish this whole thing was musical theater (nick would kill me) its good to experiment with styles. Well done but I'd really like to hear more (and without so much reverb)!
Cory: WOW... I'm speechless why are you doing internet competitions your incredible! Thats all I can really say I really liked it! Awesome job!
Is Rina your Virtual Pop Idol? Please vote in the polls at the end of the show!
