Article 2.0 - 28 Finalists
Now we are talking! VPI2 recieved many great auditions, but we only had room for 28 to advance! The 28 were divided into 4 groups of 7. 2 people will advance from each group, as well as 4 from the Wildcard which will compose our Final 12! There is alot of talent in this season, so things are bound to get exciting! This brand new adventure has only begun! Good Luck Everyone!

Group Three:
 Welcome Everyone! Tonight we are here with Group Three. I am your host and judge Nick. Also joining us tonight is my lovely co-host Ksenia and our extremely talented judge Cory! Let's get started shall we?

Nick: Kyle, well done! I didn't really like the static, but I loved your voice. I felt like you chose the perfect song for your range, and it definately flowed! Good Luck to You!
Ksenia: Really nice, I liked this one. The one thing I think it lacked is emotion and a little energy(keeps from slightly flatting on pitches). There seemed to be a mic problem and I do have the karaoke for this (no vocal cut needed) watch any "er"s on words, don't accent them too much. Good job man!
Cory: First of all your next performance better be such crappy quality, that was terrible! Not your voice but never have a song in this poor quality its really hard to hear your voice so I cant really judge from what I heard it was good, i just hope you pick song with more range other wise good job!

Next up is Heather Davis, singing "Rock With You" by by Michael Jackson:
Nick: Heather, what a wild song choice! I'm not a huge fan of Michael Jackson, but I really liked your rendition of the song! It was a unique song and I think you pulled it off really well! Keep up the great work!
Ksenia: Very interesting song choice, I like it(got me dancin again) I enjoyed the little ornamentals you added ("dance") it was really original. A few of the places seemed to get a tad low, where you had to basically be in chest voice but since you have to get back up to the chorus notes you stayed in mixed voice( its not fair, most male trained singers have a larger range than women for how low they can go and then be up high into falsetto very fast) once last thing, some of the vocals on the recording seemed a little murky, if you can, bring up the crispness on the vocals to make them more clear. Thoroughly enjoyed it, well done!
Cory: Heather you have a very nice voice, it has a little country twang in it, I like it but I didnt really think this song suited your voice, I'd like to see what you sing in the future, keep up the good work!"
