CAMEROON

Since their rumbustious arrival in Italy 1990, Cameroon have firmly established themselves as one of the neutrals' favourites. Sides from Cameroon seem guaranteed to entertain with their cavalier approach. Naive (and sometimes cynical) defending prevented them from ever looking like accomplishing Pele's dream of an African side winning the World Cup before the year 2000, but as holders of the Sydney Olympic trophy and African Nations Cup champions they are arguably the strongest team on the continent.
