Roswell
The
Roswell UFO
The UFO crash at Corona,
New Mexico, still captures the
imagination of thousands of UFO enthusiasts. Fifty four years on, it is still shrouded in mystery and secrecy.
Roswell deserves a very special mention after all the efforts and
research by various individuals and is probably regarded as the biggest cover
up of all time.
On the 3rd/4th July 1947 an unidentified
flying object crashed to earth near Corona, New Mexico "Mac" Brazel a ranch foreman was riding
the range on 3rd July 1947, when he came across a field of metallic
debris. Approximate coverage was around 3/4 of a mile in length and
about 300' wide.
The debris consisting of foil like material, thin
pieces of metal and I-beams, more or less covered the area mentioned.
Strangely enough, the thin metal on inspection by Brazel could not be
bent or even burnt. "Mac" collected a few
samples to show his closest neighbors, Floyd and Loretta
Proctor, who lived around ten miles from his ranch.

Brazel asked the Proctors to accompany him to see
the field, but they turned down the invitation on account of the
distance involved plus the expense of gasoline. This was a shame really as he would have had
another witness to the debris field .

Sheriff George Wilcox of Roswell advised Mac Brazel
that they call the local air base to report the finding. Frank Joyce
of Roswell radio station KGFL also interviewed "Mac"
regarding the find. Brazel was "interviewed" by the military
for nearly a week reference the Roswell Crash, and probably sworn to
secrecy; some say that as an added incentive he was
given a large amount of money to "forget" the whole affair.
