| The
room above was odd -- a large crack in the boulders above the room
opened up to the sky, making it unsuitable as a grainery or living quarter. There was no sign of blackening on the walls from smoke from indoor fires. A floor appears to have been built over an alcove below. As this location provided a stragetic vantage point of the main Moon House building structure, we suspected the purpose of this structure was defensive in nature. |
