Moon House Complex

Moon House, McCloyd Canyon, Cedar Mesa area, Utah
(Page 3 of 3 - Go to page 1; Go to page 2)

Moon House complex stretches out over one quarter mile. As spectacular as the Moon House main building structure is in terms of artistry and amazingly well-preserved state, a series of structures around the canyon bend to the right of it is nearly its equal. Notice the decorative chinking  (small stones placed in the mortar) done with small white stones. One odd thing we noticed, the matching row of rooms appeared to be living quarters, but the walls were not blackened by smoke.
