"Pink Ribbon"

What happened to my Pink Ribbon?

I told you to keep it safe

Do you still remember

The long strand of silken linen

That I used to wrap my hair in a bun?

I gave you that Pink Ribbon.

You took away my childhood dream

You lost my Pink Ribbon

Accepted it in great splendor

Vowed to keep it safe

But where is it, my Pink Ribbon?

Where are those lovely days?

You tied a knot with the ribbon

And my dreams got caught in between

They're gone now

They left with my Pink Ribbon

The ribbon that you lost

The promise that you broke

I can never wear it again

I can never see it again

When you lost my pink ribbon

You lost my trust

You lost my love

It left with my pink ribbon
