Rahel's Song Of Tomorrow

Twisted immortality
The 'gift' I need to give
I suffer with my trembling
Strange desires just to live

The blood of life fulfills me
As death becomes my bed
My soul submits to ecstacy
The height that most would dread

Alas, the light controls me
I hide away once more
The trickle and the echoing
Tranquility is restored

Behold as sadness sings
Sweet lullaby with grace
The timelessness it brings
To the lonliness I face

Stubborn I may be
I do not wish to perish
For the plight which most would flee
I have only learned to cherish

So here I am in full
This song that finds tomorrow
The freedom has its toll
In everlasting sorrow
