| The Emerald Forest
You
and me in an emerald green forest
Glimpses
of the sun through flickering foliage
Tangled
vines and twigs,
Fallen
trunks and leaves
Silence
and serenity,
Of
hushed sounds and still voices,
What
peace, uncompared ....
What
joy undiscerned,
Inexplicable
happiness disclosed.
You
and me, amidst the greens
Of
this emerald forest
Purple
passions of wildflowers
The
intricate silver of the spider's kingdom
And
the deep smell of earth
Holding
it all together
Founded
upon the sanctuary of life
This
emerald green forest
You
and me
Wandering
free
Underneath
the shade of the green canopy,
Like
multitudes of hands reaching high
Swaying
by the breeze as they grew past the sky
In
constant supplication of sun and rain
Where
life abounds and life reign
Innocent
laughter stretches from the heart
As
eyes deepen their gaze
And
know not how to part
This
emerald green forest
Interwining,
interwoven in our hearts
Our
life... our breath...
