B & W and color photos of New Orleans famous cemeteries. For more information about
the cemeteries, order The St. Louis Cemeteries of New Orleans from the New Orleans
diocese

It's a bit dated, but has good B & W photos and is only $3!
Two other excellent books are available, both written by Robert Florence, and available from the New Orleans Cemetery & Voodoo pages in association with Amazon.com. I've noticed lots of people looking, so I'm going to tell you that I highly recommend both books. Very interesting, great pictures, and a nice guy. Books about Voodoo are available in the Voodoo Bookstore.

Cypress Lawn is very quite and somewhat
interesting. I didn't get a whole lot of time here, but it was very pleasant
with some interesting tombs. |

| NEW! Holt Cemetery
Holt cemetery is an under-ground cemetery--
possibly the only one in New Orleans. The people buried here are poor,
but the graves are very personal and the site is very peaceful. |
