Until very recently, this was a page containing fourteen reviews of albums from 1971-76, including

It was easily one of my very best-written pages, one naturally coalescing (due to my tastes) around an examination (and to some degree, indignant defense) of progressive rock: its musical principles, its motivations, where its boundaries were and weren't. Then one day I created a page to be entitled "noncredo.htm". I saved it. Geocities somehow decided to save it under the name "1971.htm"-- even though, had I _chosen_ to name the new file that, it would have asked me "do you want to replace the earlier file with this name?" and I would have said no. Either way, 7000 words of writing gone, kaput. Has this happened to anyone else, that you know of? Ever?

But you know, those _are_ good albums. How 'bout y'all go buy them anyway, okay--- some of them are obtainable through Wayside Music if other means fail. Help make this loss one of those sacrifice in a noble cause thingies. Y'know?
