GUIDED MEDITATION

Swami Vivekananda has verily laid down the four ways of "manifesting the Divinity within oneself" based on the scriptures - the path of Knowledge(Jnana Yoga), the path of Unattached action(Karma Yoga), that of selfless devotion (Bhakthi Yoga) and Control of mind( Raja Yoga). His 'Raja Yoga' based on Patanjali Yoga Sutra is considered a World famous classic and based on these, Swami Baneshanandaji has been teaching a simple , but effective technique of Meditation

At the beginning of every academic year, two talks are given in the weekly meetings on "Theory of Meditation" and "Steps of Meditation" and this is followed by a detailed "Guided Meditation" session, where he guides people individually. In addition, every weekly meeting begins with a half an hour Guided Meditation session. Cassettes and books on Meditation are available in our library and instruction sheet is given in the class. It is to be noted that, this method of meditation has to be practiced regularly , with as less breaks as possible .
