Note: Based upon telephone calls received, letters received and what we read on the internet it has become rather obvious that most Polio Survivors are being misdiagnosed and/or poorly treated by their Health Professionals who have limited knowledge of PPS. We believe it is also not our duty to try to educate Health Professionals, nor is it yours.
Finally, we believe it is our obligation to at least direct you to Health Professionals who claim to be knowledgeable in PPS. Therefore, the purpose of the following 'Polio' doctor list.
We also suggest that you read the article by Dr Julie Silver from our Polio Connection Newsletter and also to become an informed consumer relative PPS by reading our Polio Information Books and from other sources noted.
