*TRANSCRIPT STILL IN PROGRESS*
Doyle: We'll ask David Thibodeau now, uh, if he will come forward, David has a song that he specially wrote for today, think he was still working on it at 4AM this morning- [laughter] um- [Thibodeau: "Hey, when the Spirit calls!"] Time's going by, but I hope you'll bear with us, um, we do have some, more that we want to bring before you, we have some more music. And, uh- so stay with us. David.
It's eleven.
Thank everyone for coming here, today. On this April 19th, ahem. 2001. Eight years later. Just came in from, uh, outside, and it's, as windy if not windier than it was eight years ago. And of course we know that the wind played a hand, in what took place. And- as Clive said, being here in, uh, four in the morning, was very- strange experience, because, for the first time I got to just, be back on Mt. Carmel with no activity. No movement, nothing lying around me. And just kind of sit and reflect. And I finished this song that I started working on, just a couple of days ago. And didn't think I'd have the chance in finishing it for this. Um. But I wanted to- for eight years, I'd never been able to write a song. That had reflected somewhat my experience, and what, we've all been through, um, on this side of the stage. And see, not just April 19th- or February 28th or 51 days- uh, but every single living day after, the fact. The media, and how they handle and twist the truth. The spin doctors, may the best spin win. It seems how it is today in America. With freedom of the press. I have a- Not to shamelessly promote a band, but I'm currently, in a band, and the reason I'm bringing this up is because, for now, the name of the band is Fifth Estate. I thought I'd take a moment before I played my song, to describe the Fifth Estate, what it means, and what it is, and why we're fortunate to live in this time.

In England, before the advent of the printing press, there were, three estates: the clergy, the lords, and the House of Commons. And those three estates controlled, and ran the way, mankind thought. They literally told you what to think. And, without books, without literature, people had no way, to have an other opinion. They had no way to, listen to another point of view. It's kind of how it's been in the press, for the last eight years. It's their spin, it's the way they see it, it all has to do with, with sex and guns. And it has nothing to do with the Constitution and the values, the issues that, so many, millions, huh- of our nation's young people died for. And that's a shame. And these people don't have, what it takes to be real people, and print the truth- they're afraid to lose their jobs, over the loss of lives. They're afraid of being- politically manipulated, they're not politically correct. I think that's a shame. So, that's why we're fortunate in- the advent of the printing press, the fourth estate was established. And it toppled the first three estates. Because for the first time, man had information. They had access to views and opinions they didn't before. So what's the Fifth Estate. You know we have ABC, CBS, NBC? Fox Network, CNN. And again, you only get what they want you to know. You know, freedom of the press. It's really just a byword, it's meaningless, it's absolutely meaningless these days. Meaningless! The Fifth Estate is the Internet. With the Internet, now we can go to, WorldNetDaily. We can go to people like Sharlene over here, who's taking her time to put an e-mail list together, to send to everyone who wants to know, everyone who wants to be involved, and there's some incredible people in the room right now that I see. I see some.of my friends from Boston that run a co-op radio station. And, uh, these two ladies are, huh, interesting individuals, they dropped out of- I'm sorry to tell your story. They went to law school, huh, and dropped out, when they saw the corruption. And realized that to be part of the System, they'd have to give away a little bit of themselves. And chose not to do that. They chose to, become activists.
So the Fifth Estate, the Internet. We all have access, we can all go out there now, and we can all find out what's going on. There's really no more excuses. So, I think it's going to be interesting, in the next few years to see what happens. This McNulty video that's come out- and of course the, um, I'm sure it's been mentioned, but just in case it hasn't- um, Cato Institute, a libertarian think-tank, has come out with a report on the Danforth, uh, report. And the Danforth Report, of course, said it was all David Koresh's fault, the government did nothing wrong, except for a couple of government attorneys lied. Huh! Anyone, who has any inkling, inkling of what's happened here, knows, that is complete and ultimate coverup and whitewash. Um- catoinstitute.com, check out the Waco report- they go through, it's incredible, they go through, um- very specifically, and rip apart where Danforth is absolutely false in the information, that he put in his official report. Not only that, but, they have a segment where they find, every single law, that a government agent broke. And, and show the case law why these people should be pr-, prosecuted- why they should be put in jail for their crimes, as you'd be put in jail if you did the same crimes. [F: "That's right"] You'd go to jail forever- if they had their way. But of course ?? Judge Walter Smith will be my last example. Clive wants me to hurry up, so... [laughter, then applause]
Carol- ?? technology.
Two more seconds. I'll make an exception.
Now! I'm going to try something that I- I'm a drummer, so I don't usually, uh- I play my songs for myself. So relax! [laughter]
All right!
Doyle: I just want to say, this is special, because this guy's a drummer! [laughter]
please, bear with me.Where are you going to go, anyway?
to tune this thing? Close enough.
I got down
No.
some water?
Thank you.
Clive's just got the driest sense of humor!
Oh, uh. Thank you very much Ramsey Clark for coming down. We didn't think that we were going to have any speakers, and it's always a pleasure to hear Ramsey speak. And Alex Jones and all of our other friends that have been so, uh, for helping us out.
