1st Friday of the month, the 2nd, 3rd, etc... "What's the difference?"
It does make a big difference! Let's explain.
It's very simple, really. We work on a monthly rotation system in our Friday night programmes. It works something like this:
| 1st Friday: | Social event! Bring a friend! |
| 2nd/4th Friday: | Going deeper: Cell Groups, Bible Study, Worship, Prayer, Teaching |
| 3rd/5th Friday: | WhAtEvEr!!! Anything from wacky games to hectic worship & ministry! (Check the calendar to see what's happening) |
Why? Different people are different levels of commitment to Jesus. It's virtually impossible to make one programme that will please everybody. So the rotation system is our way of trying to make sure that we cater for people at all levels.
So which Friday should I come to? It's up to you. If you think Bible teachings and worship is boring or scary, come to our 1st Friday events, and relax as you chill out with some friends!
Which Friday should I invite my friends to? Once again, it's up to you. But it would probably be best to invite people to the 1st Friday programmes.
So 2nd and 4th Fridays are boring, then? NO WAYS!!! Dig into the Word of God, and watch it transform your life! Worship the King of Kings (also our Friend Forever!) and get in touch with the Creator of the Universe... Awesome stuff! Live worship team, mind-blowing topics, creative learning, powerful prayer and the love & support of a bunch of young people who are really on fire for Jesus... Boring? You must be kidding!
