Sabre is buried in the Saunders Family Cemetary #1 located off Route 626 near Huddelston, Virginia. This cemetary is located near the, "Big House", sometimes called "Five Oaks", which was owned by Thomas and Sabre. It is located just inside the Smith Mountain Lake State Park.

According to the records researched of the area by historian Kenneth Crouch, Sabre and her sons George E., James G. and his wife Mattie, "are buried in a set of plots bound by an iron fence."
